The masses sometimes fail to understand the full implications of Corruption. If the media constantly distorts and lies to the masses that is a symptom of insidious corruption; if large corporations pay no tax and the burden is placed on the shoulders of the struggling, underpaid, exploited people, that of course is Corruption of government for favouring Corporate elites. Of course the list goes on and on in ALL western 'democracies' and I'm sure the average reader is able to add numerous other corrupt instances to the list -- put simply the game is rigged by those that have the resources (MONEY) to corrupt and influence outcomes, which group is easy to identify, the 'privileged,' rotten Corporates who benefit most from corrupting the American and other governments throughout the WORLD. It takes resurrected neocon psychopaths like John Bolton to threaten war in Venezuela and that after withdrawing from two major failed wars in Syria and Afghanistan. However, clearly Washington foreign policy neocons have not thought it through as the vast majority of Venezuelans (85%) passionately refuse and would fight against any foreign intervention, particularly from blood-drenched, interfering American hands. That 'minor' factor is ignored (by the western mass media) though it portends a HUGE RESISTANCE, which implications Bolton and his neocon ilk have not properly considered, notwithstanding Chinese and Russian support for the elected sitting president, Maduro. John Bolton, who helped author the playbook that was used to launch the 2003 invasion of Iraq, issued a blunt threat Friday that the US would kill or jail and torture Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro if he did not resign. The right stuff, how else did a bunch of rag-tag Taliban fighters in Afghanistan defeat the world’s most powerful military nation? They were/are outgunned, facing modern technological warfare against drones, missiles, modern fighter jets, bunker bombs etc, YET they prevailed and clearly it wasn’t the result of watching propaganda and fictions on TV. We live in an era of lawlessness, we need only consider that not one American has ever been charged before the ICC for war and other crimes against HUMANITY. Henry Kissinger was proud of the fact that he implemented indiscriminate “carpet bombing” during the Indo-Chinese war -- millions of innocent peasants were killed as a result. America is proud that it illegally attacked and invaded Iraq based on a raft of exposed LIES, though millions of innocent civilians were killed in the grab for Iraq’s oil and prior to that illegal invasion millions were killed by US sanctions on Iraq which forbade the import of medical supplies which resulted in over 500,000 child deaths, which the then Sec. of State, when questioned in the media, considered those deaths, “worth it.” So what is an American politician's life worth today, Madam Albright?
