More on Clinton's Futile Attempts to Smear Democrat Candidates
Eoin Higgins via janice, Friday, Oct 18 2019, 11:30pm
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Friday made the baseless claim that Dr. Jill Stein, the Green Party's 2016 nominee for president, was a Russian agent—an allegation that was met with derision from Stein and an invitation to debate.
"In light of the latest slanderous allegations from Hillary Clinton, I challenge her to a debate," tweeted Stein.

No Surprise that Criminal LIAR Hillary Clinton Does Bidding of Elite interests to Defame Gabbard
Marty Johnson via dulcie, Friday, Oct 18 2019, 10:31pm
It's really to be expected that known viper and gutter rat, Hillary Clinton ("Lock Her Up," which gutless Trump failed to do) emerges from her hole to do the bidding of her worried elite masters and attempt to sully and disparage Tulsi Gabbard's clean reputation, as a, according to Clinton, Russian stooge -- preposterous of course -- though any criticism from Clinton only serves to vouch for the integrity and strength of Gabbard. Veteran Tulsi Gabbard Slays American Delusions with Truth
Finian Cunningham via jaxie, Friday, Oct 18 2019, 9:04pm
No wonder Democratic Party bosses and mainstream media are trying to bury presidential contender Tulsi Gabbard. She is the only candidate, perhaps the only politician in the US, who is telling the American public exactly what they need to know about what their government and military are really up to: fighting illegal regime-change wars, and to boot, sponsoring terrorists for that purpose.

How the Syrian War was Won
Pepe Escobar via james, Friday, Oct 18 2019, 8:18pm
What is happening in Syria, following yet another Russia-brokered deal, is a massive geopolitical game-changer. I’ve tried to summarize it in a single paragraph this way:

America's Disgrace in the Middle East is the Death of an Empire. Vladimir Putin is Caesar Now
Robert Fisk via jess, Friday, Oct 18 2019, 8:01pm
In days gone by, I used to compare the Trump presidency with the Arab dictatorships. He took preposterous pleasure in the company of Egypt’s Sisi (60,000 political prisoners) and his inane ramblings had much in common with those of Muammar Gaddafi, who also “authored” a book he never wrote but whom Trump never met (albeit that Tony Blair and Gaddafi kissed each other on the cheek). But over the past week, I’ve begun to realise that the crackpot in the White House has much more in common with ancient Rome.

The Age of Radical Evil
Chris Hedges via cyd, Thursday, Oct 17 2019, 8:53pm
Indeed Mr Hedges, but when, since the dawn of written history has any "age" been any different? The poisonous model or paradigm is known and clearly seen, minority unrepresentative elites ruling the enslaved masses by any means, ideological: Pharaohs as "divine" rulers through to banker debt slavery today. The means of slavery are irrelevant it's the paradigm, minority elite rule that requires rectification, as absolute power corrupts absolutely. Leave the neutered and PASSIVE negative descriptive analysis in the bin, we KNOW what the problem is so at least attempt to offer alternative SOLUTIONS rather than weaken the masses with your usual negative hopeless alternatives/propaganda. One wonders.

How Turkey’s Invasion of Syria Backfired on Erdogan
Patrick Cockburn via stella, Wednesday, Oct 16 2019, 7:00pm
Turkey’s Syrian venture is rapidly turning sour from President Erdogan’s point of view. The Turkish advance into northeast Syria is moving slowly, but Turkey’s military options are becoming increasingly limited as the Syrian Army, backed by Russia, moves into Kurdish-held cities and towns that might have been targeted by Turkish forces. Who's Afraid of Tulsi Gabbard?
Josh Mitteldorf via jess, Wednesday, Oct 16 2019, 6:39pm
A chicken-shit is someone who supports a belicose foreign agenda and advocates military interventions, but who has dodged the draft because he doesn't want to put his own body on the line.
What's the opposite of a chicken-shit?

Ecuador and the IMF’s Killing Spree
Peter Koenig via darcy, Wednesday, Oct 16 2019, 6:25pm
For close to 40 years the IMF has weaponized its handle on the western economy through the dollar-based western monetary system, and brutally destroyed nation after nation, thereby killed hundreds of thousands of people. Indirectly, of course, as the IMF would not use traditional guns and bombs, but financial instruments that kill – they kill by famine, by economic strangulation, preventing indispensable medical equipment and medication entering a country, even preventing food from being imported, or being imported at horrendous prices only the rich can pay.

Just 100 Companies Will Sign Humanity’s Death Warrant
Lee Camp via ned, Tuesday, Oct 15 2019, 9:51pm

Just 100 Companies Responsible for 71% of Global Carbon Emissions
Tess Riley via jaxie, Tuesday, Oct 15 2019, 9:18pm
Just 100 companies have been the source of more than 70% of the world’s greenhouse gas emissions since 1988, according to a new report.
The Carbon Majors Report (pdf) “pinpoints how a relatively small set of fossil fuel producers may hold the key to systemic change on carbon emissions,” says Pedro Faria, technical director at environmental non-profit CDP, which published the report in collaboration with the Climate Accountability Institute. Turkey's Dastardly Plan to Release Jailed ISIS Prisoners
stacey, Friday, Oct 11 2019, 8:56pm
Up to 10,000 (mainstream newswire) captured ISIS prisoners are incarcerated in Syrian Kurdistan, which prisons, under the cover of Turkey's illegal invasion of sovereign Syria, have been directly targeted by the Turks in order to free their ISIS allies. It must be remembered that Turkey assisted ISIS selling Syrian stolen OIL during its occupation of Syria prior to Russian assistance, so any notion that Turkey is not allied with ISIS is garbage. Erdogan's family directly benefited from this relationship in oil sales by allowing tanker routes from Syria into Turkey and then exporting the now laundered oil from its coastal ports to the world; $millions in profits was going directly to ISIS leaders and Erdogan's family members – so why be shocked by these verifiable FACTS? It's the way of this thoroughly corrupt world and rotten mass media that never reports the TRUTH, only distractions, omissions and shaped 'news'.

Stock Market Crash of 1929 Redux
F. William Engdahl via janice, Wednesday, Oct 9 2019, 9:34pm
Despite proclamations to the contrary, the true state of the US economy is getting more precarious by the day. The Fed policies of Quantitative Easing and Zero Interest Rate Policy (ZIRP) implemented after the 2008 crash, contrary to claims, did little to directly rebuild the real US economy. Instead it funneled trillions to the very banks responsible for the 2007-8 real estate bubble. That “cheap money” in turn flowed to speculative high-return investment around the world. It created speculative bubbles in emerging market debt in countries like Turkey, Argentina, Brazil and even China. It created huge investment in high-risk debt, so called junk bonds, in the US corporate sector in areas like shale oil ventures or companies like Tesla.

Any Nation or People that Trust the Duplicitous, Self-seeking USA Deserve What they Get
ned, Wednesday, Oct 9 2019, 8:51pm
Self-proclaimed Sultan of Turkey, Erdogan, has just invaded the Kurdish region of Syria, which idiotic action will have numerous disastrous repercussions, primarily with the sovereign Syria government, as this foolish action is an act of war and with ally Russia, Syria must deal with this outrageous invasion immediately, notwithstanding that the American puppet Kurds have been stabbed in the back by America that promised them the moon in exchange for their services fighting Assad, only to abandon them to the Turks led by unhinged, megalomaniac Erdogan. And all this in full view of recent history, that is, America once AGAIN abandons an ally; consider the fate of allied Iraq led by Saddam Hussein in the long war against Iran, and when it failed, America, true to form, expeditiously stabbed Saddam in the back and had him gruesomely executed. Not to mention the Mujaheddin of Afghanistan dumped after they served the US/CIA fighting Russian invaders.

The Fed Is Injecting $100 Billion a Day in Emergency Loans to Unnamed Big Banks
Pam and Russ Martens via greg, Saturday, Oct 5 2019, 10:04pm
The Federal Reserve Bank of New York first initiated its emergency overnight loans to Wall Street this year on Tuesday, September 17, starting off at the rate of $75 billion daily. It then increased its loans by adding, in addition to the $75 billion daily, 14-day term loans in the amount of $30 billion to be offered three times this past week. But after the demand for the first 14-day loan was more than double the $30 billion offered, the New York Fed boosted the next term loans to $60 billion and increased its overnight loans to $100 billion. Iran Is China’s Secret Weapon for Killing off the US Dollar’s Global Reserve Status
Federico Pieraccini via gayle, Saturday, Oct 5 2019, 9:27pm
There is a strong current of change affecting the international political arena. It is the beginning of a revolution brought on by the transition from a unipolar to multipolar world order. In practice, we are faced with the combination of several factors, including the application of US tariffs on Chinese exports, Washington’s sanctions on Iran, US energy self-sufficiency, the vulnerability of Saudi industrial facilities, and Iranian capabilities for resisting US attacks, as well as its exportation of large quantities of gas and oil to China. Everything converges on one factor, namely, the looming decline of the US dollar as the global reserve currency.

Twitter Employs Professional "Psyop" Propagandist as Executive
Caitlin Johnstone va stella, Friday, Oct 4 2019, 10:26pm
Ian Cobain of Middle East Eye has published an exclusive titled “Twitter executive for Middle East is British Army ‘psyops’ soldier,” exposing Twitter’s senior editorial executive for Europe, the Middle East and Africa as someone who also works for an actual, literal propaganda unit in the British military called the 77th Brigade. Which is mighty interesting, considering the fact that Twitter constantly suspends accounts from non-empire-aligned nations based on the allegation that they are engaging in propaganda.
