text Western Powers Ignore Modi's Stalinist Approach to Kashmir Brian Cloughley via gus, Thursday, Aug 29 2019, 1:03am
On August 23 the New York Times reported that the Indian Ministry of External Affairs “won’t say why foreign journalists continue to be blocked from setting foot in Kashmir” but managed to obtain a compelling first-hand account of one of the thousands of arrests by the authorities. In this instance “Asifa Mubeen was woken up by the sound of barking dogs as policemen began pouring into her yard. Her husband, Mubeen Shah, a wealthy Kashmiri merchant, stepped out onto their bedroom balcony in the night air. The police shouted that he was under arrest. When he asked to see a warrant, his wife said, the police told him there wouldn’t be one. ‘This is different,’ they said. ‘We have orders.’ It was the start of one of the biggest mass arrests of civilian leaders in decades carried out by India, a close American partner that bills itself as one of the world’s leading democracies…”

clowntrump.jpg image Trump's Recent Feigns and Destructive Economic Lies Bess Levin via stella, Tuesday, Aug 27 2019, 11:46pm
Donald Trump is in a tough spot. You see, his trade war with China is hurting the economy just like everyone said it would, which is threatening to push the United States into a recession. Even Trump, whose brain short-circuited years ago, knows this would be bad, particularly for a guy whose campaign slogan is, “You have no choice but to vote for me because your 401(k), everything is going to be down the tubes [if you don’t].” The problem is, China appears unlikely to budge and has met every single round of tariffs with retaliatory measures of their own. text Trump wants to give government Permanent 'Authority' to Spy on ALL Americans Judge Andrew Napolitano via shirl, Monday, Aug 26 2019, 8:24pm
While most of us have been thinking about the end of summer and while the political class frets over the Democratic presidential debates and the aborted visit of two members of Congress to Israel [media distraction], the Trump administration has quietly moved to extend and make permanent the government's authority to spy on all persons in America.

text Symbiosis of Black and White Capital – Elite Crime Money and Elite Mega-corporate Money are One johnny, Monday, Aug 26 2019, 12:20am
I have no idea why this topic has never been overtly addressed, pursued and made public knowledge, that is, the marriage of organised crime wealth and the wealth of corporate/banker elites. This relationship is certainly not hidden, it is in fact an overt reality easily investigated by anyone with a computer and internet connection, at least for now, as western puppet governments world wide are now pursuing with a vengeance internet censorship and the modification/shaping of the free flow of information; for instance, a site like Wikileaks could accrue all the damning and compromising information it wants in the future, but if the public is prevented from viewing it then of what use is this information?

I’m trying to remember when Israel wasn’t the fifty-first state. It receives my tax money and a blank check by the United States government to torture, ethnically cleanse, and murder Palestinians. (story and 1 image)

text The Nuclear Irresponsibility of Small Lackey Nations Paul Craig Roberts via jane, Saturday, Aug 24 2019, 10:27pm
After falsely accusing Russia of violating the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty (INF), Washington unilaterally repudiated the treaty. Thus did the US military/security complex rid itself of the landmark agreement achieved by Ronald Reagan and Mikhail Gorbachev that defused the Cold War.

This anti-Australian, dribbling in tongues clown must go! image Australian ISPs in League with Morrison Government Block "Undesirable" Web Sites Paul Smith via fred, Saturday, Aug 24 2019, 9:02pm
Australian ISPs under the auspices of the new Pentecostal 'speaking in tongues' ideologically conservative Prime Minister, Scott Morrison, have already arbitrarily blocked dissenting web site 'Zero Hedge,' though that web site has never broadcast or propagated violent material (Christchurch shooting) as Facebook and Twitter have, which two Corporate sites have not been blocked in Australia under Morrison's (selective) "e-smart" policy. It would seem that any website which the government disagrees with could and no doubt would be blocked in future, as clearly this now implemented censorship has met with no resistance from the public though clearly the strategy is the thin end of the wedge. Following on from the article below is the following article from FWM, which provides proof of concept material in real world example.

New data about the enormous gap between the compensation growth of American corporate executives and American workers, shows just how staggering the divide is. Corporate leaders however, would like to hide that fact.

text The PERSONAL Wars of Today jude, Wednesday, Aug 21 2019, 10:36pm
Most people continue to labour under the misapprehension that modern wars are fought between opposing military and/or organised fighting groups. These wars are seen clearly by most; however, far more insidious, devastating and largely invisible wars are fought on people and those wars target individuals, YOU, me, everyone. These wars that shape opinion, alienate and divide, are fought in the media, particularly the 'digital media' using sophisticated weaponry in the form of algorithms that shape and modify thought and behaviour to very dangerous effect, as once accomplished/CONQUERED, the target (person) becomes thoroughly enslaved though always imagining they are free, could you think of another more insidious and damaging type of warfare today? I doubt it.

flag_coffins.jpg image When Can We Lay This Burden Down? Patrick J. Buchanan via sheila, Tuesday, Aug 20 2019, 10:47pm
Friday, President Donald Trump met in New Jersey with his national security advisers and envoy Zalmay Khalilzad, who is negotiating with the Taliban to bring about peace, and a U.S. withdrawal from America’s longest war. U.S. troops have been fighting in Afghanistan since 2001, in a war that has cost 2,400 American lives. (story and 1 image)

Morrison, yez boss! image Australia to send its Military to Persian Gulf in Support of Aggressive and Provocative US Policies staff report via liam, Tuesday, Aug 20 2019, 9:41pm
It is known among world leaders that whenever Washington says 'jump' to Australia, the sitting government regardless of political stripe, says 'how high!' Indeed, it is also known that whenever an Australian foreign minister visits Washington, they are issued with knee pads, notwithstanding they usually return to home shores with custard on their lackey faces.

But in the current times of inexpensive devastating weaponry and asymmetric warfare, can Australians afford to become a soft target? That indeed is the question all Aussies should ask of their clearly lackey PM, 'Pentecostal' Morrison, who has clearly forgotten that Australia is a sovereign, INDEPENDENT nation with a fiercely independent non-servile population/culture.

text Learning the Hard Way: the Follies of History Pepe Escobar via ned, Monday, Aug 19 2019, 12:43am
Nothing beats the beguiling, stony smiles at the Bayon temple near Angkor Wat in Cambodia’s Siem Reap to plunge us back into history’s vortex, re-imagining how empires, in their endless pursuit of power, rise and fall, usually because they eventually get the very war they had sought to avoid.

text Saudi Illegal War on Yemen Ends After Saudi Oil Fields Attacked Moon Of Alabama via jane, Monday, Aug 19 2019, 12:03am
This event verifies an old military adage; that 'a war instigated by an aggressor nation MUST be fought on the aggressor's home soil.' Be advised America, the most warring, aggressor nation in the WORLD today.

Indeed, if America's largely illegal, invasive, resource thieving wars are not fought on U.S. soil, America would continue its aggressive, criminal behaviour; however, if the many targeted nations returned America's wars to American soil then outcomes would be reversed, as the American people would then directly experience the effects of America's illegal wars on other nations. So doodle dandies, today you may have arrived at a new threshold in your wars of mass murder, aggression and theft. Today's weaponry makes this approach a very simple and relatively inexpensive matter. Be warned, you have stupidly grabbed the tail of a tiger!

text The Rise And Rise of the Economic Elite Phil Rockstroh via sal, Friday, Aug 16 2019, 12:24am
The U.S. is less of a nation than a collective, psychotic episode. Within day-to-day life in the nation, a cultural aura exists that shifts, mingles and merges between a sense of nervous agitation and displaced rage, in combination with a sense of weightlessness. The fragmented quality of daily life imparts an insubstantial, unreal quality wherein the citizenry of the capitalist/consumer empire of hungry ghosts drift through a nadascape comprised of ad hoc, fast-buck-driven, suburban/exburban architecture and the ersatz eros of constant, consumer come-ons.

text The POWER of One or a 'Handful' luke, Friday, Aug 16 2019, 12:06am
The stark reality of rule is easily determined historically and currently, it is elite minorities that rule, a tiny minority percentage of people lord unjustly and criminally over billions of human beings on the planet. To say this social reality is 'natural' is absurd as throughout history and today these self-interested elites serve only their own avaricious interests, plain to see. Elites PROFIT from all wars that the masses are deceived into fighting, as it is easily proven that the masses today only fight for elite corporate and banker PROFITS. Gone are the days of long ideological wars or noble causes, if ever there were any, today the primary factor behind all wars is PROFIT, dare to research the matter since the turn of the century for yourself and confirm the assertion if in any doubt.

text “Power Issues from the Barrel of a Gun” jack, Tuesday, Aug 13 2019, 8:43pm
The title paraphrases a quote from Mao Zedong which has become an historical distraction as that rule/fact has been practised by ALL the European colonial powers prior to the birth of Mao since the fifteenth century, which colonial naval powers invaded other lands, mass murdered and enslaved indigenous populations in the interests of what is known today as the commercial/corporate/banking sectors.
