SATAN – A Convenient Invention

Conflict, greed, war, murder, rape and oppression (slavery) is recorded throughout known history and it is safe to say that such conflicts probably began with neolithic tribal conflicts over hunting grounds and other food resources. So it began with conflicts over necessary resources and what has changed today? Absolutely nothing! So much for the MYTH of social advancement and modern sophistication, as behaviours match those of our neolithic ancestors, grunt, grunt!

Then came organised large societies and the need for marshalling those societies in order to function, existing tribal leaders with all manner of deceptions, such as (self-appointed) 'divine' rulership succeeded in this task – Alexander after his many conquests was obsessed with the idea that he was a God, he put the question to 'Gods' in sacred Egyptian sites and of course was shown the answer to his arrogance with an arrow wound he received in India which resulted in his premature death around the age of 30, notwithstanding he was a genius military leader, but 'pride (and arrogance) goes before the fall,' as history records time and again.

However, do humans learn the simple lessons that history teaches? NO! So clearly, the disease is stronger than the man, as many continue to fall as a direct result of known follies; just look at America today, a mass murdering, thieving, lawless, rogue nation, which is failing at speed simply because it fails to learn simple historical lessons. And so it will fail hard like its imperial predecessors, as it cannot change its suicidal course though American ruling elites are acutely aware of the fact.

Man has tried for millennia to understand and overcome these weaknesses, as his arrogance and hubris do not allow for accepting responsibility and blame, so where it was necessary in these pathological circumstances, a perverse evil was created – originally by the ancient Babylonians – which myth acted as a social and personal scapegoat in order for man to avoid and accept responsibility for HIS actions, 'the devil made me do it syndrome,' a socially convenient but not socially progressive option, as it allowed for an escape from accepting responsibility and undertaking reforms where reform and change were clearly indicated.

Satan is now the culprit in all major religions, yet that scapegoat does not exist outside man, so if you wish to really know Satan, simply look in the mirror; conversely if you wish to know harmony Go(o)d, the mirror reflects same BUT MAN rejects the reality that he has created all gods of good and evil and continues to avoid responsibility; nevertheless, clearly, there simply are no external gods or devils. And so MAN, generically speaking, is doomed to repeat his follies until his advanced weapons finish the TRAGIC story of failed humanity – and to think how much better the world would be if man had the character and guts to accept responsibility for his perverse nature, which is diametrically opposed to his harmonious exalted nature, and then reform/change; but as we know the road to ruin is broad and easy but the road to redemption/liberation is narrow and fraught with difficulties though the gates of paradise wait for those that overcome and persevere to the end.

So it appears that this particular world (school) was created for the very few that succeed.

There is nothing new under the sun, as man REMAINS an internally torn dualistic being with a multitude of deadly weaknesses, which he is and always was, able to overcome.

The choice is y/ours alone, as first we must overcome and reform ourselves before we are able to change/reform society. Bitching about this and that, the blame game, is simply cowardly avoidance.

Are YOU a coward or a hero, accept one of these two designations as there is no escaping that CHOICE?
