More than half a century past the evil genius of Nazi propaganda minister Joseph Goebbels openly declared the power of the mass media and utilised it to great and tragic effect. However, his statement was nothing new if one studies the propaganda of the western press during WWI. The media is and has always been the key to managing the masses; the media determines and shapes cultural discourse regardless of its accuracy, indeed, it is believed by the majority.

Media exploits an important sociological aspect of human nature the need to share knowledge which was once critical to the survival of the species so in this sense that need is almost innate though of course one is easily able to break free of these reflexive triggers via the discriminative process all human possess. However, discrimination is based on knowledge and if the false narratives of the mass media are the dominant source of ‘knowledge’ then its effect is guaranteed.

It is important to note in the subtext of the Goebbels' quote his disdain and loathing of the masses as a mindless herd of pigs, 'swine' in German is a hugely insulting and degrading term, but that is the attitude of most media moguls today. These types are acutely aware how easily the masses are led, which makes it very easy indeed to view the masses as nose-ringed dumb beasts -- if the shoe fits wear it. I struggle myself with this real confrontation and the frustration of knowing that without an uncensored mass media apparatus at my disposal my words are not heard by the majority regardless of how important and truthful they may or may not be, as in theory all media is fiction as nothing is able to capture the REALITY of an event; however, that reality does not preclude making every attempt to transmit, as accurately as possible, events and knowledge that effects us all.

For a (very) short while the early internet offered a medium whereby anyone could exercise their right to free speech and be heard and via the discriminative process of readers many sites became standard sources for truth and unbiased reporting amassing millions of hits/reads per month.

However, today the owners of the internet infrastructure and those mega IT companies that benefit most from it (surveillance capitalism) have and use that power to exclude any voice which threatens the dominant fictional narratives that vested elite interests wish to promulgate. The effect of this censorship has been devastating on independent media, readerships of trusted outlets are now down by 80% and growing for no other reason other than censorship and backgrounding by mega IT companies -- the partners in crime, spreading lies which lead to wars, illegal invasions, coups and resource theft, etc, -- which serve the interests of the corporatocracy and Wall Street bankers primarily. The ‘swine’ are left to either consider their predicament or swallow the shit they are fed, swine were once utilised in Europe and Asia as shit eaters for centuries before sewage systems were developed in the 19th century.

And so there it is, the stark reality that very soon Big Brother, by nefarious and deceitful means will control all available information. The next stage would be the re-writing of history, and attacks on the storehouses of recorded knowledge, libraries and other repositories of knowledge, in order to completely eliminate any possibility that the dominant fictional discourse would be challenged. I am not a prophet and neither was George Orwell it’s simply a matter of adding 2+2 and not believing mainstream fictions and propaganda, oink, oink!

Human society is already enslaved by engineered debt slavery, soon minds, opinions and interpersonal communication will be reduced to grunts, and the vast majority of humans will not know any better as elites have always viewed them as an expendable resource to be exploited, so suck on that, shit-eaters! I know that is an unfair comment, but if I take the trouble to research and analyse all available information on socially critical matters and arrive at a good approximation of truth, then so can you. But it’s to no avail as I also know that Goebbels and his ilk today are perfectly correct in their view and entitled to their loathing, can we blame them for human frailty, if you want to eat shit and be psychologically and economically enslaved/exploited as an expendable resource, then good luck to you all?

I am now assessing my options and the worth of pissing in the wind. What a frightful tragedy the human race has become, but do not concern yourselves with reality as then you would realise that your time is very limited indeed -- you are in fact killing yourselves, you dumb, mindless, beasts.

But don’t believe me, believe something that the mass media is powerless to effect, nature and its reactions to the imbalances we are directly responsible for.

Of course climate change and its consequences is not given the attention it deserves in the mass media and neither is anything else that would effect positive change and the reformation of a managed, surveillance, totalitarian society. But you asked for it, you slovenly, apathetic, nose-ringed, dumb beasts, by not exercising your democratic options and prerogatives, now it's too late and a high price will be exacted for this FAILURE.

The logic behind backgrounded and censored news is simple 'we mustn't alarm the masses' as then our very stable and managed resource would be threatened and indeed so would ('our') elite lives because it is clear we are responsible for ALL the wars, mayhem, social and environmental destruction in the world today. Well, indeed they are and profit is the reason -- can you believe it? These elitist sickos are so addicted to money and profit that they would destroy us all and the environment for the sake of it, but don't tell anyone the truth, you may disturb the status quo!
