North Korea Calls Australia 'Riff Raff' For Very Good Reason

North Korea accuses Australian 'riff raff' of destabilising peace deal

The newspaper said "riff raffs such as Australia" should be held accountable for their actions and that they risked destabilising the peace process between North and South Korea.

"Australia is seeking to destroy the hard-won peaceful atmosphere of the Korean peninsula and the region," The Rodong Sinmun wrote on Thursday.

"In case the affirmative atmosphere created on the Korean peninsula is wrecked owing to the riffs-raffs such as Australia, they must be held wholly accountable for it."

South Korean President Moon Jae-in and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un authorised the removal of weapons and ammunition from the Joint Security Area in Panmunjom on Thursday as the leaders accelerate the path to economic co-operation between the two countries.

The communist north and the US-backed south have been divided for more than 60 years and remain officially at war despite an armistice in 1953.

The two countries are expected to verify they have disarmed Panmunjom, the key border-crossing where Moon and Kim met for the first time in April, with 35 unarmed soldiers from both sides to take control of the area from Saturday.

Despite the diplomatic progress, US President Donald Trump has urged allies to maintain pressure on the North Korea to keep the regime at the negotiating table over its nuclear program.

The Rodong Sinmun said Australia’s decision to send the HMAS Melbourne to patrol North Korea’s borders showed "Australia has not abandoned its force of habit as a puppet".

Air Marshall Mel Hupfeld, defence force chief of joint operations, said despite the easing of tensions, Pyongyang had continued with its nuclear weapons and ballistic weapons programs in defiance of United Nations Security Council resolutions.

"The occasional deployment of maritime patrol aircraft and surface vessels to the region adds weight to Australia’s ongoing economic and diplomatic pressure on North Korea and enhances the capacity of ongoing multinational enforcement efforts," he said in October.

Clearly, it is in the strategic interests of the USA that NK is prevented from all peace deals with the South but for Australia to get involved and further compromise what is left of our sovereignty is plain nuts.

Previous and continuing errand running for various criminal American regimes is NOT in Australia's best interests, obvious, in fact I cannot think of a more compromising outcome to national security than becoming a PRIMARY NUCLEAR TARGET, can YOU?

The vast percentage of Australians today are fed up with Canberra and its servile, gutless, INCOMPETENT and traitorous lackey politicians. The next federal election, where many REPRESENTATIVE independents should run would drive the message home. Both major parties in Oz are clearly owned by international elite interests. It's time for ALL Australians to re-assert their independence and sovereignty from those local and international interests that threaten our security and OUR national economic interests.
