The Great Aversion Plague

TRUTH today is largely rejected in favour of warm fuzzy lies that speak to one’s own delusions of ‘identity,’ which is created by culture, if one cares to trace the source within mind of all personal pronouns, I, me, mine, etc. This dichotomous relationship, identity-culture, is therefore easily exploited by those aware of the great aversion to uncomfortable REAL truths; entire populations subscribe to fictions and the false realities they engender, notwithstanding that the lead and reins of control emanate from the mass and digital media.

It has been stated time and again by many experts that social/political change only occurs when the masses are motivated either by trauma, social collapse, intolerable circumstances or the possibility of achieving a utopian dream, which in effect is an alternative dream fighting an existing dream, but at no time are the masses motivated to act to save themselves by truth/s, comfortable lies always win the day, hence the success of repetitive propaganda disseminated by the privately owned mass media, which of course includes the DIGITAL social media.

The aversion to truth is a well known psychological condition (pathology) from which we all suffer to a greater or lesser extent, which gifts ruling elites with the means to exploit and enslave the masses, how else would the huge injustice of wealth disparity exist today? There is absolutely no real justification for a tiny minority, easily trounced by the hordes/masses, to hog the enormous percentage of available wealth they have managed to channel into THEIR pockets. Indeed, to support THEIR status quo of PROFIT at any cost, which translates to perpetual wars, division/conflict and the wholesale destruction of the environment, which factors alone, if viewed soberly end in entropy or complete collapse of not only social systems but the harmony of the planet and would threaten the future tenability of human existence on this earth; yes, it is an urgent reality/truth which must be addressed with ACTION not perpetual distraction and talk.

However, the above obvious truth continues to be IGNORED when the effects today slap nations/people in the face, droughts, huge storms, uncontrollable wild fires, disappearing clean drinking water, and certain future food shortages etc, and all this massive social failure is due to a sick component in human nature. It is little wonder elites require the enormous sums they steal to keep their Frankenstein monster running.

So until such time -- when it is too late -- the masses realise that dreams are not compatible with REALITY, keep dreaming your way to oblivion and ensure you never act to save yourself and the world. That escapism is unfortunately the TRUTH of the matter, which few if any writers/journos today dare to address as the ultimate responsibility rests squarely on the shoulders of the people/masses, which remain potentially the most powerful social force on the planet.

However, it’s much easier to blame tiny minorities, and extremely VULNERABLE ELITES that are no more difficult to eliminate than squashing a cockroach underfoot. And for those that know the TRUTH, live with the reality that you are a bunch of spineless COWARDS.

Now quick, reach for the legal opiate, alcohol, social media or sexual distraction of your choice -- “what a day for a daydream ...” YES, THE PEOPLE, ABOVE ALL OTHER CAUSES ARE TO BLAME! But what would happen to our advertising dollars if we told the cold, hard TRUTH so we are forced to construct a blame target to distract and focus peoples’ angst, on (our captured puppet) Donald Trump. Though this obvious game is becoming more transparent by the day.
