Populism Rules No One Need Think Anymore

Let’s face it, thinking is a strain on the brains of the enslaved public, especially in the USA, with Pakistan currently following in at a close second -- it has recently been revealed that the all powerful Pakistani military applied pressure on Pakistan’s media to ensure that pretty, political dunce, Imran Khan was elected to power, which result for Pakistanis means more of the same misery, though this time the enormous corruption and poverty plaguing that nation would be less obvious, hidden; you’ve got to feel for the desperation of the people that as yet refuse to believe that it’s all been a sham. And so the world today, East and West, follows a populist political course, repeating meaningless slogans and hoping for the best, which NEVER comes.
Gone are the days when populations considered policies and the ability of prospective leaders, and how they would be affected, gone is the anguish that results from incompetent, appallingly bad leadership, living standards and opportunity may fall through the floor but the population maintains its media-learned chants, which they use like mantras to compensate for the misery inflicted on them by unrepresentative, useless leaders. It seems to be about group-unthink and belonging today, as if a few million people, which collective IQ is in the minuses, derive some comfort from belonging to the enslaved, moron class, a class which Marx couldn’t consider as it is newly created.
But it’s all a desperate dream as is so starkly evident in the USA and now Pakistan, denial is better than the horror of reality for the powerless, it would seem. Grin, chant and bear it, are the only options available, as it takes mettle, resolve and courage to really change things, and therein lies the bind of the people, their spines have been removed by mass media surgery, which has proven it is able to make people eat shit and enjoy it! A lamentable situation, as it was only a few decades past (60‘s) that millions marched on capitals to demand their rights and proper representation.
And when confronted by this unmanaged horde, the criminal elites panicked momentarily, but soon devised a simple strategy, BUY the mass media and disseminate all manner of comforting propaganda and distracting titillation/sensationalism, and clearly the strategy is a success, eat shit people, as there’s plenty more shit sandwiches on offer.
Would anyone expect real opposition to remove the forces of unfairness, corruption and injustice today, not many if any at all, as mass surveillance has done its job superbly, privacy no longer exists, which is worthy of note as that reality is symptomatic of totalitarianism, but who’s to notice and those that do are unable to act due to the loss of support and instilled FEAR?
Our collective dystopian future has arrived but the secret to its continuation is in the criminal hands that place populist leaders in power while they pursue their nefarious agendas, until a new mindless puppet is required so a new horse replaces the worn on the same merry-go-round, though with a different face and new decorations but spouting the same tired lies from a supplied script.
Nevertheless, there is always hope in nightmare existences, however, it requires everyone to act together for justice and a fair share, though it would seem impossible to unshackle the digital chains of alienation supplied of course by the same powers that be. But I’m an optimist in the most dour circumstances, humans continue to possess SPIRIT, though buried, it’s only a matter of release. I’m open to suggestions.
