On the Brink with Russia in Syria Again, 5 Years Later posted by Ray McGovern via claire, 2018-09-14 04:08:21
The New York Times, on September 11, 2013, accommodated Russian President Vladimir V. Putin’s desire “to speak directly to the American people and their political leaders” about “recent events surrounding Syria.” (full story)

Russia Prepares for a Full Nuclear War on US and its vassal Allies posted by cyd, 2018-09-13 20:43:43
Yes, it has come to this, but why? Simply due to the fact that the USA has lost its orchestrated war in Syria but refuses to withdraw its GROSSLY ILLEGAL OCCUPATION FORCES on Syrian lands. Furthermore, it now threatens the legitimate and LEGAL right of the Syrian government and its allies to rid the nation of paid, supported and protected, by the US and its allies, terrorist proxy fighters, now concentrated in Idlib. The U.S. Government's 9/11 Conspiracy Theory -- Fake News at its Peak posted by Edward Curtin via gus, 2018-09-11 23:35:55
For seventeen years we have been subjected to an onslaught of U.S. government and corporate media propaganda about 9/11 that has been used to support the "war on terror" that has resulted in millions of deaths around the world. It has been used as a pretext to attack nations throughout the Middle East, South Asia, and Africa. It has led to a great increase in Islamophobia since Muslims were accused of being responsible for the attacks. It has led to a crackdown on civil liberties in the United States, the exponential growth of a vast and costly national security apparatus, the spreading of fear and anxiety on a great scale, and a state of permanent war that is pushing the world toward a nuclear confrontation. And much, much more. (full story)

Why Are We Siding With al-Qaeda? posted by Ron Paul va sal, 2018-09-11 22:57:14
Last week, I urged the Secretary of State and National Security Advisor to stop protecting al-Qaeda in Syria by demanding that the Syrian government leave Idlib under al-Qaeda control. While it may seem hard to believe that the US government is helping al-Qaeda in Syria, it’s not as strange as it may seem: our interventionist foreign policy increasingly requires Washington to partner up with “bad guys” in pursuit of its dangerous and aggressive foreign policy goals. John Bolton, psychopath Psychopath John Bolton Threatens ICC if they go After Israeli and American War Criminals posted by Jake Johnson via gayle, 2018-09-11 08:30:23
John Bolton a psychopath neocon was infamously known for openly threatening the lives of a Brazilian diplomats kids, with, "we know where your kids live," if he didn't toe the American line during the Bush era, which was simply obey if you know what's good for you. How this criminal psychopath has avoided jail to date is beyond belief, however, if you live in the world's leading civilian killing criminal nation it's par for the course for insane threats to be made without suffering consequences. However, Bolton is again in the inner circle of the president's administration, within which he works his malevolence and murderous schemes -- and people IMAGINE that Trump is leader of the USA, ridiculous! So the latest criminal threats from Bolton would be no surprise for those familiar with his track record. (full story)

Anonymous Op-ed Reveals Cowardly Subversion and Unelected Secret Rule posted by ben, 2018-09-11 06:32:50
The anonymous op-ed published foolishly by the NYT has backfired spectacularly. Everything that its writer/s seemed to plan has engendered the reverse reaction. (full story)

The End of ALL Empires and Antiquated Political Ideologies/Systems posted by rayn, 2018-09-09 21:34:14
The 21st century is most noted for something never covered in any media; it is NOT the usual constant, needless, mass murdering wars for profit, based on pretexts and lies, or the ceaseless destruction of our environment by corporate greed, or the HUGE disparity of wealth that prevails everywhere today; instead, most noticeably, its foremost characteristic is FAILURE almost across the entire political and social spectrum. The Failure of Existing Political Systems and the Resulting Social Suicide posted by lynn, 2018-09-08 20:50:31
Social theorists whether of right, left or centre have lost touch with reality. Today the overwhelming threat we face is the devastating effect of climate disruption, yet no social theorist breaches the subject, notwithstanding that communism has failed and capitalism is indeed primarily responsible for environmental, extreme climate disruptions and constant war/exploitation of the weak. Is this the world we want, a world in which entire societies fail? I hope not. (full story)

The Establishment’s Bi-Partisan Fear of Popular Revolt posted by Gareth Porter via janice, 2018-09-07 22:29:43
The two most powerful think tanks in Washington, representing center-left and center-right political elites, have responded to the populist shocks of the 2016 presidential election by trying to reposition themselves and the Democratic and Republican Parties as more sympathetic to populist concerns even while maintaining their attachments to the interests of big business and the complex of war-making. Op-Ed, Woodward and Moore: How the USA Lost the World posted by claire, 2018-09-07 21:12:10
Typical of navel-gazing Americans they imagine that the recent NYT op-ed, purportedly revealing an internal “resistance” to the President of the nation by his own administration, is an internal matter. NOT so, this piece regardless of its source was published by one of America’s most respected media outlets, The New York Times (NYT), therefore it carries considerable weight world-wide and what an appalling, self-destructive publication the op-ed is! VP, Mike Pence Mike Pence is the Traitorous Fall Guy posted by jude, 2018-09-07 01:26:15
This story is predicated on the assumption that there is indeed a ‘single person’ responsible for the NYT outrageous op-ed. However, clearly no-one ever goes out alone on a traitorous limb such as described in the NYT op-ed. Rather that person is led to believe they have strong support from deep state ranks and other players in the Trump admin, though clearly it is extremely naive to believe that the chosen ‘sacrificial lamb’ -- as exposure is a certainty -- would be supported openly, which would jeopardise more careers than one, and in Washington it’s all about career advancement, so goodbye naive fall guy/SUCKER, you have been politically conned. How to Extend the Trump Presidency in one Easy Lesson posted by lex, 2018-09-05 22:28:09
The following analysis is the outcome of two highly specialised textual and cultural analysts. Readers would be best served if the analysis is inserted in bold text brackets of the NYT absurd and TRANSPARENT propaganda pitch itself. Indeed, the Deep State must be worried as Trump is THEIR man in office as 'his' policies so blatantly indicate, and that is why he remains president and would continue as such for some time to come. Beyond Treason -- Bob Woodward's New Book on Trump posted by Kevin Breuninger via james, 2018-09-04 20:45:41
Bob Woodward's exposé of Trump's lunacy is nothing new, the entire world is aware that Trump is severely psychologically flawed/sick, in the clinical sense. BUT does a pathological nation deserve a pathological leader? Of course it does, it's simply a matter of consequence. So what is the reality behind the story? Again simplicity itself. We cannot expect a person or nation suffering extreme psychological fragmentation/illness to be aware of the causes of their SICKNESS, so to the few sane Americans I would state very simply to read ancient Roman history and follow how that empire failed from within. The USA is simply a repeat performance of the fate of corrupt, criminal empires where ruling elites unconsciously subvert their own nation/empire's interests due principally to self-seeking. It really is that simple! (full story)
