Julian Assange image Enter Moreno, Goodbye Assange cyd, Friday, Apr 5 2019, 11:20pm
I recall an US official saying in an interview, to paraphrase, 'what's the point of Assange's self-incarceration if he has access to the internet, he lives online' – indeed, he does. So Lenin Moreno, now fully captured by Washington and given huge monetary incentives, is complying with US wishes to have Assange expelled from his sanctuary in the London Ecuadorian Embassy. text America and the Losing Syndrome gerry, Thursday, Apr 4 2019, 1:25am
Americans love to ‘win’ in fact they are so addicted to winning that when confronted with the reality of numerous losses, they withdraw into denial. No, they say, we really did win that one and that one, of course relying on the fictitious media which never accepts a loss. Indeed culture is a self-sustaining system based on lies or whatever.

chinavsamerica.jpg image Chinese Military in Venezuela M. K. Bhadrakumar via jess, Wednesday, Apr 3 2019, 11:20pm
The reported arrival of Chinese military personnel in Venezuela last weekend is undoubtedly a major event in world politics. Unlike Russia, which has a history of force projection abroad, this is an extremely rare Chinese move. Although vital Chinese interests are at stake in the war against terrorist groups in Afghanistan and Syria, China refrained from publicising any such deployment. (story and 1 image)

jfkrkfmalcolmxmlk.jpg image When the Deep State Took Hold of America james, Tuesday, Apr 2 2019, 11:03pm
This period was marked by a string of political assassinations starting with JFK and his brother, it included Martin Luther King, Malcolm X, and many other black leaders, it also included many politically inclined pop stars of the time, such as Hendrix and Joplin ending with John Lennon and Bob Marley some time later. Never has this many political assassinations been recorded in such a short period in American history, YET no one has questioned WHY or how. This relatively free period of the 60‘s and 70‘s was also the period the Deep State stole the American (democratic) Republic and continues to maintain ownership to this day -- coincidence, not likely! Everything political has a beginning and end and it’s time we ended the nefarious rule of the mass murdering, treasonous, American Deep State. (story and 1 image)

text Golan Heights, Kosovo and Crimea: A Case Study in Hypocrisy and Double Standards James O'Neill via claire, Sunday, Mar 31 2019, 12:55am
The recent announcement by United States President Donald Trump that the US will recognise Israel’s sovereignty over the Golan Heights draws attention yet again to the double standards applied by NATO and its satraps including Australia to the issues of territorial integrity, the right to self-determination, and international law. Three cases illustrate the duplicity and double standards of the Western nations. They may be reviewed chronologically.

romantrump.jpg image The American Dream World -- the US Continues to IMAGINE it is Able to Dictate Policy to the World suzie, Sunday, Mar 31 2019, 12:30am
As a young student studying ancient/modern history I recall studying the fall of the Roman (military) Empire. Of course, full of young projections I simply couldn’t understand why obvious solutions were not followed to restore Rome’s might prior to its implosion and subsequent fall as a powerful empire; solutions were obvious to me and confirmed by the Eastern Emperor Constantine, who cleverly implemented something learned from the Jews, and that is that an Empire based on ideology/theology was the most cost efficient and supremely successful form of ruling large numbers of people and huge geographic empires, regardless of initial cultural differences. Elliot Abrams -- no one is buying, stooge image Russia Will "Pay A Price" -- For Interfering in Our [Failed] Criminal Coup Attempt in Venezuela Muhammad Irfan via jane, Friday, Mar 29 2019, 10:29pm
Well, isn't that insane statement from Washington officials just typical of the US attempting to create another Orwellian Inversion of reality. Here's the reality: Russia, conforming to international and Venezuelan LAW, particularly the sovereign rights of ally Venezuela, has landed military advisors and elite troops to repel Washington's illegal transparent coup attempt in that country. So now the lunatic, criminal fuck-knuckles in Washington are offended that Russia is foiling their plans for the illegal appropriation of extremely valuable Venezuelan resources. Well lump it Washington clowns, the WORLD sees right through your pathetic intrigues and corrupt manipulations. You will not succeed. (story and 1 image)

text Russia, the US and Venezuela jaxie, Thursday, Mar 28 2019, 8:53pm
It seems that Russia has finally grown some balls after disgracefully abandoning traditional ally Yugoslavia/Serbia, then Libya, and taking overly cautious, stop-start interventions in Syria, however, today it would seem that Russia FINALLY is showing that it won’t back down in Venezuela or abandon another ally in its greatest time of need.

Questionable Robert Mueller -- why didn't you seek assistance from the NSA, which entity could have ended the bullshit before it started? image Mueller Report Ends a Shameful Period for the American Mass Media Chris Hedges via gary, Tuesday, Mar 26 2019, 9:01pm
The Mueller report’s categorical statement that Donald Trump and his campaign did not collude with Russia ends one of the most shameful periods in modern American journalism, one that rivals the mindless cheerleading for the Iraq War by most of the press. It further erodes and may prove fatal to the credibility of a press that has steadfastly rendered most of the country invisible and functions as little more than an array of gossiping courtiers to the elites. text [‘Russiagate’]: AMERICA, World Leader in Disseminating LIES and Leading People Astray claire, Tuesday, Mar 26 2019, 8:23pm
“The short version of Russiagate? There was no Russiagate.” -- Peter Van Buren

A slightly longer version is: ‘There was no Russiagate other than that fabricated by the deep state and pushed by the lying, distracting and manipulative American mass media.’
