Now consider some of the dictates of the world's largest religions. We have the homophobic, genocidal God of Abraham, Jehovah, whose track record is anything but holy. In Joshua he orders the Jews to kill every man, woman, child, dog, cat, cow, in fact everything that breathes in conquered Canaanite cities, this is a very sick God, self-evident, though he remains the progenitor of extremist religious violence to this day for followers of the three main Abrahamic faiths.

Note the inhuman behaviour of Jews, Muslims and Christians for example, we have Nazi Zionists, Muslim Jihadists and fundamentalist Baptist Christians in the US, all of whom think themselves justified to engage in mass murder and they are not alone. The Hindu Bhagavad Gita is set on a battlefield for 'Christ's sake.' The protagonist warrior Arjuna is faced with a dilemma, the opposing army has among its ranks his relatives but God orders him to ignore human sensibilities and do his duty as a soldier and kill his brothers and kin, the excuse is that God says only he has the ability to determine life and death and that feeble man essentially kills no-one unless God has decided. This is a literal rendering though I know better, as most religions are esoteric texts BUT the masses and religionists take it literally, hence all the violence in God's name that the world has been plagued with since recorded history.

Now consider a law that allows all the Abrahamic and other faiths to practice their religion freely including all the SANCTIONED blood and guts in those religions, which followers are obliged to follow and emulate. Are we really serious conservative government Australia? Muslim Jihadists would be the first to utilise this law as a defence against killing infidels that mock their prophet and faith, then Jews would scream anti-semite and legal protection when they practice their genocide against Palestinians, after all, their God is clearly genocidal; and hypocritical Christians would refer to Jehovah as their example as they imagine that Jesus and Jehovah are one and the same God. So where does it end? Simple, no one left to fight any more religious wars as an "eye for an eye" leads to entirely blind populations.

Religion, legally protected by a secular state, preposterous, try it you conservative numbskulls that can't see past their political opportunistic noses, you deserve what you get.

Consider all the above, not to mention wife and child abuse/beatings because God told me to take the “rod” to disobedient wives and children – give Australia a break you myopic conservatives, there will be hell to pay if this bill is passed!

I need not continue only to say what the fuck are you thinking, opportunistic Oz conservatives? But I forgot, politics does not involve thinking in the best interests of the State and the masses, only the short term careers of politicians who always leave others to clean up the mess they create.
