Failed Australian Politics
by darcy Monday, Aug 20 2018, 8:31pm

Australia’s useless, powerless and elitist PM, Malcolm ‘Goldman Sachs’ Turnbull, has survived a leadership spill today but would soon be forced to resign his commission as there is no hope for a hopeless leader; it’s only a matter of a very short time as news polls and recent minor elections have indicated a monumental loss for the sitting government next federal election and so the knives are out for the useless figure-head leader.

Goodbye, Malcolm
Goodbye, Malcolm

Conservative political advisors and consultants are in panic mode as their very thin skin prickles over 38 straight poll loses to the opposition party and the loss of seats in various State elections, HOWEVER, it should not be forgotten that Turnbull has been dead in the water since the last election for the simple but clearly ignored reason that he lost PUBLIC SUPPORT years ago.

Internal party politics is one thing, which both major parties have extreme problems with YET the obvious solution and cure for the constant bickering and one-up-man-ship games is a popular support base with the PEOPLE/nation. Former leaders sailed home on public support, most notably, Menzies, Whitlam, Hawke and Keating, which neutralises all internal bickering/challenges until public supports shifts for whatever reason.

It should be noted that Turnbull gained office NOT via an external national support base/election but by challenging the leader of the party (Abbott) and winning an INTERNAL party vote, which completely ignores the people and allows for further challenges, as that leader is then subject to the internal forces that placed him/her in office, a very tenuous situation for any leader, which factor results in a usually ineffective hold on power, as no democratic leader could hope to survive internal party divisions/challenges without strong national public support which the aforementioned former leaders had in abundance.

And yet ironically parties are hyper-sensitive to public opinion and polls but continually lack the political nous to gain public support, which is essentially the job of leaders, a talent elitist Turnbull lacked from the start. A party leader is easily able to discipline party members if he/she has strong public support, as is obvious but not to major Australian political parties it seems. From the public point of view Australian politics has degenerated into a choice between a vomit or a turd, or the least worst, which reality of course has created the unstable and unproductive political reality the nation suffers from today.

Modern Oz governments that are clearly unable to rule effectively and lead the nation, unwillingly allow external elite forces to take the reigns of power and dictate policies to governments, as has been the case for decades in Oz, and the public is acutely aware of the fact.

Now, is it necessary to scream reality from the roof-tops, as neither major party has popular leaders, in other words parties refuse to acknowledge the obvious, which results in more internal party politics which increases public disillusionment while the nation/people go backwards and are overtaken by more progressive nations on the world stage.

It should also be noted that the world’s leading dunce/politically incompetent leader, Donald Trump, remains fixed in office for ONE REASON ONLY, public support almost to a fanatical degree. Elite forces have been unable to remove Trump from office due to his canny ability to retain his popularity with the ‘joe six-packs’ of America. That simple strategy has ensured his hold on power. Never has any leader faced such hostility from the elite powers that be, yet Trump holds on and defies all attempts to remove him.

So Australia, have we learned anything from previous Oz popular leaders and the American example? Probably not! Meanwhile the nation continues its steady direction backwards. There are very clear reasons why Australia’s placing/status in all areas with competitive developed nations continues to FALL.
