Former Oz PM Kevin Rudd -- Put Murdoch on Trial for Interfering with Oz Democracy
by cyd Monday, Aug 27 2018, 7:55pm
international / prose / post

Rudd recently commented on the turmoil which now characterises Australian politics and levelled majority blame on Rupert Murdoch, a media mogul and plutocrat able to character assassinate any politician at home and abroad if they do not comply with his wishes, which of course are self-serving and guided by his ultra-right wing political ideology -- ‘who do those political fleas think they are interfering with MY plans,’ is essentially Murdoch’s sentiment and Rudd should know as he was once supported by the Murdoch media but on condition. Remember the absurdist Murdoch plan of a “NATO of the South Pacific” which obliged Rudd was forced to run with, unsuccessfully of course.

Abbott with Murdoch -- if a picture is worth a thousand words
Abbott with Murdoch -- if a picture is worth a thousand words

Then of course former PM and destabiliser, Tony Abbott, who was photographed on his knees like a begging dog next to a seated Murdoch while attending Abbott’s pre-election ‘gala dinner.’ So it is plain that if Murdoch supports and approves the candidate, he/she is a sure thing for office and every Canberra politician knows it! But what does that REALITY make of Australian Democracy, a tragic joke of course? And so a strong case against Murdoch is easily brought before the courts for overt interference in Australia’s electoral process.

Wherever gutless narcissist Rudd, got the balls to attack King maker AND BREAKER Rupert Murdoch, remains a mystery, though his spite and vindictive nature are well known to Aussies, Abbott’s recent destructive performance in the conservative party is merely a repeat performance of Rudd’s machinations against Gillard, Abbott was never creative only destructive.

It would seem that the recent political implosion of the conservative party triggered some sort of deja vu in Rudd, as it was a complete replica of his toxic, destructive attacks and destabilisation of Gillard and the Labor party, which resulted in a landslide victory for the conservatives at the next federal poll, of course with huge assistance from the Murdoch media machine.

And so could a successful legal case be mounted against arrogant, self-styled king maker/breaker Murdoch for overt political interference, you bet it could. No-one, regardless of how important and powerful they IMAGINE they are, is without weaknesses and vulnerabilities, Murdoch’s and other interfering media mogul’s Achilles heel is the LAW.

Most of us witnessed Murdoch’s appalling performance before a UK commission when his journalists employed illegal surveillance tactics to get the dirt on public notables in the UK. It was Murdoch’s supremely revealing statement that the experience was ONLY ‘humbling’ that made the largest impact.

So for the sake of freeing democracies world wide from the interference of self-serving plutocrats, Murdoch should be charged and hauled before the Australian courts for additional lessons on ‘humility’ the next time he steps foot on Australian soil.

So be brave Rupert, we know you think you would prevail over those annoying legal challenges. Who do those fleas think they are, I’m Rupert Murdoch!
