Lavrov, poo poo, ca ca! image Russian FM Lavrov Warns US about Intervention in Venezuela lex, Tuesday, Jan 29 2019, 6:42pm
Reuters released a tiny piece on Russian FM Lavrov stating that economic sanctions on Venezuela are illegal, doh! But has that stopped the US in the past? Lavrov also stated that America was attempting to "confiscate Venezuelan state assets" [OIL] and that Venezuela has Russia’s full support, see link below. (story and 2 images)

Neocon hawk, Mike Pompeo at UN image Pompeo to UN, “pick a side!” jaxie, Saturday, Jan 26 2019, 7:30pm
There is only one criminal nation responsible for all the wars and mayhem of the 21st century and no-one need guess, THE USA! And yet Pompeo at a meeting of the UN security council accused the elected leader of Venezuela of creating “mayhem!” Then it was dubya Bush redux, Pompeo asked UN members to ‘pick a side,’ you're either ‘with us or with the terrorists’ or today, the new Washington backed puppet or the democratically elected Maduro. Surely by now you would think the US could do a bit better, but no, the old absurd scripts continue to plague the nation, though they carry no real impact anymore, only corruption money serves the US these days. text Energy is Power, Literally jess, Saturday, Jan 26 2019, 5:49pm
The gambit is afoot, and it’s not the usual illegal oil appropriation THEFT (Iraq, Libya) for corporate profits, it’s far broader. Venezuela has huge oil reserves, enough to affect global markets if fully exploited which in turn affects those nations which rely heavily on oil and gas exports to sustain their local economies, Russia and China for instance. The former due to its narrow based energy supply economy, the latter for reasons of continued international development projects.

Putin and Maduro image Venezuela and the REALITY of American Imperialism rod, Friday, Jan 25 2019, 8:06pm
The outworn feeble justification the USA utilises to illegally pursue ‘regime change’ (an international crime in itself) around the globe is tattered to ribbons today, the LIE of spreading ‘liberty, democracy and freedom’ -- what a farce/laugh. Now note that when the US-sponsored Arab spring uprising strategy failed to install compliant Washington puppet governments, in Egypt particularly, America quickly subverted the new democratic process and deposed democratically elected leaders in favour of servile to Washington puppet leaders. text Second US Orchestrated Brazen Coup Attempt in Venezuela Finian Cunningham via sal, Thursday, Jan 24 2019, 6:33pm
The dramatic events unfolding in Venezuela have “US-orchestrated coup d’état” written all over them. Washington is also giving itself license for military intervention which could spark a proxy war involving Russia and other powerful nations.

text Algorithmic 'Collateral Damage' Acceptable to Police, Agencies and Military lex, Sunday, Jan 20 2019, 9:32pm
Algorithms are simply unthinking computer programs that re-act to the results their initial searches produce, they react to themselves according to programming, a highly problematic process as algorithms REMAIN insentient, unable to THINK intuitively or ASSESS abstractly, which characteristics have earned humans dominance over other species and to a large extent their environments, whereas algorithms are purely self-re-actionary. Therefore, they are prone to fault as they are programmed by faulty human minds not able to assess future outcomes until they happen and as the faults grow (exponentially) and lead to faulty conclusions, due to self-reliance, the more inaccurate and faulty they become; they cannot say wait or slow down, I need to look/think about that result in order to avoid a larger fault as I go, they continue to MINDLESSLY react at light speed until they inevitably fail.

text They Spy with Their 5 Little Eyes -- the Entire Apparatus Serves Elites NOT States Suzie Dawson via jaxie, Saturday, Jan 19 2019, 8:21pm
People are sold the notion that spying is about national security, like James Bond against the villains, however, in REALITY that is myth and popular fiction; spying is about serving elite enterprises and ensuring a competitive edge and increased PROFITS for elite interests, the people and nations are of hardly any consequence as these interests are Global in scope, they care little for States/nations and people. It is already known fact that the USA spies on its allies, the Merkel personal phone scandal made headlines internationally, but what was Merkel's very revealing reaction? She took it as a given, NOT as an affront, simply an overlord watching over its subjects.

"Thanks to the rise of “deepfakes”—highly realistic and difficult-to-detect digital manipulations of audio or video—it is becoming easier than ever to portray someone saying or doing something he or she never said or did."

flag_coffins.jpg image FOUR Americans Killed in Syria stacey, Friday, Jan 18 2019, 6:49pm
American media reports that two soldiers and two Pentagon ‘civilians’ were killed by a suspected ISIS suicide bomber in Manbij on the west bank of the Euphrates river where Americans are illegally occupying Syrian territory. Of course the media is using this event as a ploy to counter Trump’s troop withdrawal but where is the LOGIC in this tissue-thin media ruse, notwithstanding logic is a rarity in America? Couldn't give a damn! Those Responsible must pay the price, NOT innocent citizens. image The American Shutdown Paralysis abe, Thursday, Jan 17 2019, 8:02pm
Thousands of public servants are working without pay to satisfy no more than the petty ego plays of politicians that clearly do NOT give a damn for the people -- that is obvious. This shutdown is a standoff between Trump and his political opposition, to which consequences for American families insular politicians are oblivious. (story and 1 image)

burning_money.jpg image The Inevitable Collapse jake, Wednesday, Jan 16 2019, 8:56pm
Remember Quantitative Easing (QE) which, printing money from air, was supposed to be a TEMPORARY measure to boost the global economy after the Wall St banker induced collapse of 2008? Well, as we know QE became permanent as banks (again) hogged all the money being created from air and did not release it into the global economy at large, the banks continued to use that money to speculate. And so QE became the heroin fix for junkie banks and large financial institutions -- nothing more. (story and 2 images)

“[You] Might like to wear cotton, might like to wear silk
Might like to drink whiskey, might like to drink milk
You might like to eat caviar, you might like to eat bread
You may be sleeping on the floor, sleeping in a king-sized bed
But you're gonna have to serve somebody, yes

text The Media Lobotomised Public lex, Monday, Jan 14 2019, 10:37pm

Panopticon Penitentiary image It’s Time to Force Tech Giants to End the Digital Panopticon Duncan McCann via claire, Monday, Jan 14 2019, 12:30am
Today we are living in a digital panopticon, a world where our every interaction with digital technology is being recorded and analysed. The rationale for much of this collecting, selling, and sharing of data is often based on the need to monetise it through the provision of personalised adverts. (story and 1 image)

John 'psycho' Bolton image Psychopaths in the Whitehouse Jessica Corbett via jaxie, Sunday, Jan 13 2019, 8:05pm
Resurrected neocon John Bolton remains as he always was, totally nuts, the WSJ recently published a report clearly indicating that John Bolton, and to a lesser extent Mike Pompeo are a danger to the USA and world at large -- these men cannot understand that pre-emptive wars create more problems than they try to solve, simply view the handiwork in the Middle East and North Africa, functional states reduced to anarchy, perpetual violence and factional infighting in the form of sectarian tribalism. Not one war the USA and its vassal allies have instigated is a success, they are all abject failures that have cost $trillions and created massive destabilisation/destruction and YET known madman Bolton sits in the inner circle of the Trump administration -- have we learned nothing from the failures of Bolton in the George W Bush regime? text Understanding Contemporary Political Power nano, Saturday, Jan 12 2019, 8:43pm
“That’s not the way the world really works anymore. We’re an empire now, and when we act, we create our own reality. And while you’re studying that reality — judiciously, as you will — we’ll act again, creating other new realities, which you can study too, and that’s how things will sort out. We’re history’s actors… and you, all of you, will be left to just study what we do.” -- Karl Rove, adviser to George W Bush.
