Google, your data suppression methods are obvious, easily recorded, abysmally inept and generally pathetic.

The simple fact that you actively engage in suppressing this and other alternative news sites means we have won and TRUTH will prevail in the end.

cia.jpg image Truman’s Accurate Warning on the CIA Ray McGovern via margot, Wednesday, May 30 2018, 10:17pm
Fifty years ago, exactly one month after John Kennedy was killed, the Washington Post published an op-ed titled “Limit CIA Role to Intelligence.” The first sentence of that op-ed on Dec. 22, 1963, read, “I think it has become necessary to take another look at the purpose and operations of our Central Intelligence Agency.” (story and 2 images)

trumpun.jpg image The USA is yet to Realise the Cost of Allowing an Incompetent Buffoon to Lead Robert Fisk via steve, Wednesday, May 30 2018, 10:01pm
As America's influence dissipates worldwide other nations exploit the weaknesses of its leader. Kim Jong Un has outwitted the witless president and Putin moves from one tactical victory to another, notwithstanding China's blistering economic and strategic advances; yet America remains paralysed and in the grip of an idiot completely captured by a tiny group of psychopaths in Washington doing its very best to demolish what has taken half a century for America to build. And so other nations hope and pray that America does not remove the cause of its rapid decline. (story and 2 images)

text Crimes against Humanity and the Israel-Palestine Conflict Julian Rose via jan, Wednesday, May 30 2018, 8:49am
In 1975, I worked on a kibbutz called Rosh Hanikra, in Northern Israel. It’s main income was derived from intensive commercial avocado pear production. There were maybe four hundred inhabitants. The social experiment known as kibbutziem grew up after World War Two, when thousands of European Jews, who had survived Hitler’s pogroms, moved to Israel, with the intent of making it their new home.

The minute you set foot in the streets of Mashhad, the air smelling of saffron, a fine breeze oozing from the mountains, it hits you; you’re in the heart of the Ancient Silk Road and the New Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).

Three Blind Mice, Pence, Trump and Bolton image Super Dunces Trump, Bolton and Pence Suckered by Kim Jong Un Albert R. Hunt via dan, Monday, May 28 2018, 12:50am
We should note how immediate the meeting between the two Korean leaders occurred after Trump cancelled the summit as well as the price the USA has paid internationally. Acute tactician and clearly shrewd strategist Kim just won the day.

Kim Jong Un appears very smart indeed. China is stronger and U.S. allies now know not to trust Washington.

She would always have the brightest smile as she stood at the intersection of Avenue T and Ocean Ave in Brooklyn, N.Y. circa 1968. She was our crossing guard and we all loved Mrs. Lombardo. Each morning and afternoon during school days she would greet each and every kid who passed by her post. On Sundays, before and after each Catholic Mass at St. Edmunds church , she would be there, again with that contagious smile. (story and 1 image)

text America's Prelude to War With Iran Conn Hallinan via grace, Saturday, May 26 2018, 11:36pm
The question is: Has the Trump administration already made a decision to go to war with Iran, similar to the determination of the Bush administration to invade Iraq in the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks?

Accusing Facebook, Google, WhatsApp, and Instagram of "intentionally" violating Europe's strict new privacy rules that officially went into effect on Friday, Austrian lawyer and privacy activist Max Schrems filed four lawsuits against the tech companies arguing they are still "coercing users into sharing personal data" despite rolling out new policies ostensibly aimed at complying with the new regulations. Goodbye Saddam image Unsettling the NK and US Summit: Threaten The Neocon Libya Solution Binoy Kampmark via gwen, Friday, May 25 2018, 12:03am
For those unaware of what the Libya solution really means, simply refer back to Gaddafi's Libya, where the US and European vassals (NATO) convinced gullible Gaddafi to surrender his weapons of mass destruction. Once he did so NATO and the US immediately stabbed him in the back as they did with Saddam Hussein in slightly different circumstances. Suffice to say that both nations were then bombed to oblivion and their leaders murdered. That's how the West makes deals, and North Korea is acutely aware of the fact. (story and 2 images)

text Iran and Pompeo’s 12-Point Ludicrous Wish List Peter Koenig via dan, Thursday, May 24 2018, 10:31pm
Trump’s reneging on the Nuclear Deal was the first step. It was, of course, pushed by Israel, but based on lie after lie and more lies, that Iran did not comply with the conditions and ‘spirit’ of the JCPOA (Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action). And this despite the fact that the Atomic Energy Commission in Vienna has already at least 8 times since the signing of the deal in July 2015 confirmed that Iran is in absolute compliance.

text Perpetual War State America Adheres to Violent Doctrine for World Hegemony judy, Thursday, May 24 2018, 9:51pm
A State that publishes its doctrine -- Pax Americana, perpetual war -- for the WORLD to see should not surprise anyone when it breaks and undermines peace deals and withdraws from summits designed to pursue reconciliation and constructive realistic negotiations to achieve peace. Clearly, the USA has no intention of brokering or negotiating for peace anywhere on the planet -- that simple -- simply because it believes it can bully and bribe the world into submission with WAR and paper money. Now consider the legality of that approach and the many ILLEGAL wars the US wages and supports via its paid proxy fighters. Syria is the current outrageous example, the US military occupation of Syria breaks numerous international laws and breaches many international conventions to which the US is a signatory.

President Trump has cancelled the upcoming summit between the United States and the North Koreans in a new letter released on Thursday. Mr. Trump writes in the letter that he was "very much looking forward to being there with you. Sadly, based on the tremendous anger and open hostility displayed in your most recent statement, I feel it is inappropriate, at this time, to have this long-planned meeting." (story and 1 image)

text Beyond Golden Shower Diplomacy Prof. Alfred W. McCoy via billie, Thursday, May 24 2018, 7:02am
Month by month, tweet by tweet, the events of the past two years have made it clearer than ever that Washington’s once-formidable global might is indeed fading. As the American empire unravels with previously unimagined speed, there are many across this country’s political spectrum who will not mourn its passing. Both peace activists and military veterans have grown tired of the country’s endless wars. Trade unionists and business owners have come to rue the job losses that accompanied Washington’s free-trade policies. Anti-globalization protesters and pro-Trump populists alike cheered the president’s cancellation of the Trans-Pacific Partnership. The idea of focusing on America and rebuilding the country’s tattered infrastructure has a growing bipartisan appeal.
